Exceptional support from start to finish The pre-assessment process is incredibly straightforward and user-friendly, making it an ideal start to the journey. Every follow up call is not only full of valuable information but conducted in such a friendly and supportive way, ensuring a stress free experience. Communication is smooth, and arranging assessments is hassle free, with every question answered patiently. Even during the assessment, which can be challenging at times, the team remains non judgmental and highly supportive. The post assessment stage stands out with ample time to discuss the report and ask questions in a calm and friendly atmosphere. Exploring further steps, including medication, is done at your own pace with clarity and care. Highly recommend this service!

ADHD assessment and diagnosis I had a really great experience with mindpath. Everyone I spoke to was very kind and accommodating. I struggle with time management due to ADHD and I found the reminder very helpful. The process was very easy and I never felt like I had to jump through hoops in order to book, confirm, attend my appointments or figure out the next steps. The wait times very also very short so there was no need to wait months on end to be seen as is common with this type of service. If you are considering getting your diagnosis or just learning about your own mental state I would highly recommend Mindpath. It is expensive but no more so than anyone else who offers this service. Unfortunately there is always a price to getting top quality qualified physicians and phycotherapists and in my opinion it is completely worth it to improve quality of life in the longrun

So far so good My experience so far with Mindpath has been a positive one. I was hesitant initially to do an assessment online but my report from Bruna Santos was very informative and detailed. She made me feel at ease during the assessment and answered any questions that I had about the report. Fiona, the receptionist, was also very helpful with guiding me with the steps I should take. She also gave me an appointment as soon as something was made available which was the following week. I am currently waiting to be seen by the psychiatrist but so far I would recommend 👍

Thank you!!! I'm still in disbelief. After two initial consultations with other providers suggested I needed a full ADHD assessment, I tried MindPath's app which quickly showed a low likelihood of ADHD symptoms. Their customer service confirmed I was in the clear, saving me both time and money. What a relief, and what an exceptional company!

I had a really positive experience with MindPath for my ADHD assessment. From the beginning, they were extremely helpful and accommodating when it came to providing information, answering any questions I had, and arranging my appointments. I was made to feel very comfortable and supported throughout the whole process. Both the clinical assessment and the diagnostic report call were excellent and very thorough, and everything was explained clearly along the way. Overall, I had a really positive experience and would highly recommend MindPath to anyone considering an assessment.

The entire process towards diagnosis was straightforward and empathic. Each step was clearly outlined, alongside the costs, and the reminders throughout the process were greatly appreciated. The psychologist was friendly while still professional, and set me at ease during the diagnosis meetings. I would recommend Mindpath to adults seeking a single or dual diagnosis — my own diagnosis was long overdue, but still personally difficult, and everyone involved made it a lot easier to handle.

I had such a wonderful experience with Mindpath and I honestly couldn’t recommend them enough. From the very beginning, the whole team made me feel supported, listened to and comfortable throughout the process of getting my ADHD diagnosis. The reception team have been absolutely lovely and so helpful whenever I have had questions or needed support, and the clinical team have also been amazing throughout everything. I really appreciated how kind, patient and understanding everyone was, and I never felt rushed or dismissed. I’m incredibly grateful to everyone at Mindpath for the care and support they have given me. The whole team have been wonderful, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a supportive and professional service.
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is ADHD?

ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) is a neurodevelopmental condition characterised by persistent difficulties with attention regulation, impulsivity, and in some cases hyperactivity. It is not a lack of intelligence or effort it reflects genuine differences in how the brain manages focus, motivation, and executive function. ADHD exists on a spectrum and presents differently in every individual.

Yes. ADHD is a lifelong condition. While it is often associated with childhood, many adults reach their thirties, forties, or beyond before receiving a diagnosis, particularly those who developed strong coping strategies earlier in life. In adults, the presentation often shifts from visible hyperactivity to internal restlessness, chronic disorganisation, difficulty sustaining attention, and emotional dysregulation.

Common signs in adults include persistent difficulty focusing on tasks, losing things frequently, chronic lateness, impulsive decision-making, trouble managing time, and a sense that daily life requires significantly more effort than it seems to for others. If these patterns have been present since childhood and affect multiple areas of your life, an assessment may be worth considering.

Our process has three stages: a Pre-Assessment questionnaire you complete at your own pace; a Full Assessment session with a qualified clinician using validated psychometric tools and a structured clinical interview; and a comprehensive Diagnostic Report with your results and personalised recommendations.

Yes. Our assessment follows clinical best practice and uses validated psychometric tools fully adapted for online delivery. Our clinicians are specifically trained to conduct thorough evaluations remotely. The quality and clinical rigour are equivalent to an in-person assessment.

The Pre-Assessment questionnaire can be completed at your own pace. From there, the Full Assessment and Diagnostic Report typically follow within a short timeframe. Most clients move through the full process within a few weeks of starting.

No. You can begin the process directly through our website without a referral. If you already have documentation from a GP or other professional, you are welcome to share it, but it is not a requirement.

Your Diagnostic Report is the beginning, not the end. It will include personalised recommendations to guide your next steps. MindPath also offers direct pathways to post-diagnostic support, including therapy, coaching, and psychiatric consultation for those considering medication.

Yes. The report is produced by fully qualified clinicians registered in Ireland and follows DSM-V diagnostic criteria. It is a formal clinical document that can be shared with your GP, employer, or any other relevant party to access support or reasonable accommodations.

You can begin by completing our online Pre-Assessment questionnaire, which is the first step in the process. Visit our website to sign up and our team will guide you from there.

What is ADHD in children?

ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects how a child’s brain regulates attention, impulse control, and activity levels. It is one of the most common and well-researched childhood conditions. Children with ADHD are not lazy or badly behaved; their brains are wired differently, and with the right support, they can thrive.

Common signs include difficulty sustaining attention in tasks or play, frequent carelessness, trouble following instructions, losing things, being easily distracted, excessive fidgeting, difficulty waiting their turn, and impulsive behaviour. These patterns are typically present across different settings: at home, at school, and socially – and have been noticeable for an extended period.

MindPath’s service assesses children and adolescents aged 6 to 17. Our assessment approach is adapted to suit the developmental stage of each child.

The assessment is a multi-modal process that draws on input from the child, parents or guardians, and typically the child’s school. It uses validated clinical tools and a structured clinical interview to build a comprehensive picture of the child’s profile before reaching a diagnostic conclusion.

No. Parents and guardians play an active role in the process, particularly in the early stages. Our clinicians are experienced in working with children and in creating a comfortable, age-appropriate environment so the child does not feel under pressure.

No. You can begin the process directly through our website. Previous reports or documentation from your child’s school or GP are welcome and useful, but not required to start.

Yes. Our online assessments for children are fully adapted for remote delivery and follow clinical best practice. Our clinicians are specifically trained in paediatric assessment and ensure the process is engaging, age-appropriate, and thorough.

The process is structured to move efficiently while remaining thorough. Most families complete the full assessment within a few weeks of starting, with the Diagnostic Report delivered shortly after the assessment sessions are complete.

Your child’s Diagnostic Report will include a detailed breakdown of the findings and personalised recommendations for home, school, and everyday life. MindPath can also guide families on next steps, including school accommodations, therapy, and further support options.

Getting started is straightforward. Visit our website to begin the Pre-Assessment process and our team will guide you through every step from there.

Fully online & nationwide. Your assessment is delivered by our PSI accredited clinicians, all online and accessible from wherever you are. ADHD assessments elsewhere in Ireland:
