Exceptional support from start to finish The pre-assessment process is incredibly straightforward and user-friendly, making it an ideal start to the journey. Every follow up call is not only full of valuable information but conducted in such a friendly and supportive way, ensuring a stress free experience. Communication is smooth, and arranging assessments is hassle free, with every question answered patiently. Even during the assessment, which can be challenging at times, the team remains non judgmental and highly supportive. The post assessment stage stands out with ample time to discuss the report and ask questions in a calm and friendly atmosphere. Exploring further steps, including medication, is done at your own pace with clarity and care. Highly recommend this service!Posted on Trustindex![]()

ADHD assessment and diagnosis I had a really great experience with mindpath. Everyone I spoke to was very kind and accommodating. I struggle with time management due to ADHD and I found the reminder very helpful. The process was very easy and I never felt like I had to jump through hoops in order to book, confirm, attend my appointments or figure out the next steps. The wait times very also very short so there was no need to wait months on end to be seen as is common with this type of service. If you are considering getting your diagnosis or just learning about your own mental state I would highly recommend Mindpath. It is expensive but no more so than anyone else who offers this service. Unfortunately there is always a price to getting top quality qualified physicians and phycotherapists and in my opinion it is completely worth it to improve quality of life in the longrunPosted on Trustindex![]()

So far so good My experience so far with Mindpath has been a positive one. I was hesitant initially to do an assessment online but my report from Bruna Santos was very informative and detailed. She made me feel at ease during the assessment and answered any questions that I had about the report. Fiona, the receptionist, was also very helpful with guiding me with the steps I should take. She also gave me an appointment as soon as something was made available which was the following week. I am currently waiting to be seen by the psychiatrist but so far I would recommend 👍Posted on Trustindex![]()

Thank you!!! I'm still in disbelief. After two initial consultations with other providers suggested I needed a full ADHD assessment, I tried MindPath's app which quickly showed a low likelihood of ADHD symptoms. Their customer service confirmed I was in the clear, saving me both time and money. What a relief, and what an exceptional company!

MindPath clinic is a wonderful option if you are unable to go to a clinic in person. They are extremely friendly and helpful especially to those who are unsure how to work computers. They are very thorough and go into great detail, they will also give you a proper diagnosis and will never push a diagnosis on you for the sake of it. They also allowed me to pay in installments which was so convenient especially since I am retired. I was very happy with my experience.Posted on Google![]()

I had a really positive experience with MindPath for my ADHD assessment. From the beginning, they were extremely helpful and accommodating when it came to providing information, answering any questions I had, and arranging my appointments. I was made to feel very comfortable and supported throughout the whole process. Both the clinical assessment and the diagnostic report call were excellent and very thorough, and everything was explained clearly along the way. Overall, I had a really positive experience and would highly recommend MindPath to anyone considering an assessment.Posted on Google![]()

The entire process towards diagnosis was straightforward and empathic. Each step was clearly outlined, alongside the costs, and the reminders throughout the process were greatly appreciated. The psychologist was friendly while still professional, and set me at ease during the diagnosis meetings. I would recommend Mindpath to adults seeking a single or dual diagnosis — my own diagnosis was long overdue, but still personally difficult, and everyone involved made it a lot easier to handle.Posted on Google![]()

MindPath’s Psychiatry Service is an online psychiatric service led by our Clinical Director, a Consultant Psychiatrist registered with the Irish Medical Council (IMC) and the College of Psychiatrists of Ireland. The service provides expert-led medication evaluation, personalised treatment plans, and ongoing prescription management; all fully online.
The service is primarily available to adults who have received an ADHD diagnosis through MindPath and where medication has been identified as a suitable treatment option. If you have received a prior ADHD diagnosis in Ireland from another provider, you may also be eligible. Please contact our team to discuss whether the requirements are met.
A psychologist is a qualified mental health professional who conducts assessments and provides psychological therapies. A psychiatrist is a medical doctor who has specialised in mental health and, crucially, is legally licensed to prescribe medication. At MindPath, psychologists carry out your ADHD assessment, while our psychiatrist, manages medication evaluation and prescription.
In most cases, yes, the service is designed for clients who have received an ADHD diagnosis through MindPath. However, if you have a prior ADHD diagnosis from another Irish provider, you may be eligible to enrol, subject to a number of requirements being met. Please contact our team directly for more information.
No. MindPath’s Psychiatry service is strictly for adults aged 18 and over.
The Initial Consultation is a comprehensive one-on-one online session with a consultant psychiatrist. During this appointment, they will review your diagnostic history, evaluate your symptoms, discuss your lifestyle and medical background, and determine whether medication is an appropriate and safe treatment for your ADHD. If so, he will outline a personalised medication plan and issue a prescription.
The Titration Review is a follow-up appointment held approximately one month after starting medication. Its purpose is to monitor how you are responding to the medication, assess any side effects, and adjust the dosage if needed. Titration is the process of carefully finding the right medication type and dose that works best for you.
The 3 Month Check-In is a comprehensive review session designed to assess your overall progress since starting medication. It covers symptom management, any side effects, and the long-term effectiveness of your treatment plan, making any necessary adjustments to support your continued wellbeing.
Yes, our psychiatrists will have full access to your MindPath Diagnostic Report before your consultation. This ensures that the psychiatric evaluation builds directly on the clinical findings from your assessment, rather than starting from scratch.
Yes. MindPath works with fully qualified and licensed Consultant Psychiatrists, registered with the Irish Medical Council. They can evaluate your individual needs and, where clinically appropriate, prescribe medication as part of your treatment plan. We also work with fully licensed mental health nurses registered with the NMBI.
No. Medication is not always necessary, and ADHD treatment is highly individualised. The best approach depends on the severity of your symptoms, your personal preferences, and other clinical factors. Many people successfully manage their ADHD through therapy, coaching, lifestyle strategies, or a combination of these. The role of the psychiatric consultation is to determine whether medication is appropriate for you specifically.
ADHD medications fall into two main categories: stimulants and non-stimulants. Stimulants, such as methylphenidate (e.g. Ritalin, Concerta) and amphetamine-based medications, are the most commonly prescribed and are effective for the majority of people. Non-stimulant options are also available for those who do not respond well to stimulants or have contraindications. We will discuss all suitable options with you during your consultation.
Stimulant medications can begin to have a noticeable effect on the same day they are taken. However, finding the right medication and the right dose, a process called titration, can take several weeks. This is why the One Month Titration Review is an important step in the process, allowing your psychiatrist to assess your response and make any necessary adjustments.
When prescribed and monitored by a qualified psychiatrist, ADHD medications are considered safe and effective for the vast majority of adults. Like all medications, they can have side effects, which vary depending on the type and dose, and are not suitable for everyone. Our consultants will conduct a thorough clinical evaluation before prescribing and will monitor your response throughout the titration process.
This is a normal part of the titration process. If you experience side effects or feel the medication is not working as expected, this is exactly what the follow-up reviews are for. Our consultants will assess your response, adjust the dosage, or explore alternative medications until the right fit is found.
Not necessarily. Some people benefit from medication long-term, while others use it for a defined period while developing other coping strategies through therapy or coaching. This is an individual decision that you will make in consultation with MindPath based on how you respond and what your goals are.
MindPath’s Online Psychiatry service will be launching later this year. Prior ADHD Diagnosis through our service is required for psychiatry.
